Bed and Breakfast Nonna Pina Scario

B&B Nonna Pina is located in Scario, in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. This bed and breakfast, born in 2018, is located 100 metres from the characteristic seafront, which is the heart of the village, and from the little port.

One of the port´s benefits is that it is served by ferries to transport tourists to the wild and uncontaminated coast of the "Masseta", a protected marine area, which is considered one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in the Mediterranean.

The B&B Nonna Pina, located on the first floor of a property which has a delightful garden and a private parking space available to guests, benefits from a terrace with stunning views embracing the entire Gulf of Policastro. It has three rooms, one with a small balcony overlooking the sea, and all carefully furnished, with a private bathroom, including 2 with baths and one with a shower, LCD TV, air conditioning, minibar and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is served in a large room which also has a sea view.

Come and visit us, and you will be made very welcome!

Scario Cilento´s Pearl

Scario is an Italian village and hamlet (frazione), the largest of the municipality of San Giovanni a Piro in the province of Salerno, Campania region. The village is situated in the western corner of the Gulf of Policastro, on the southern side of Cilento. It is 8 km from San Giovanni a Piro, 2.4 from Bussento river mouth, 4 from Policastro Bussentino, 15 from Sapri and 24 from Marina di Camerota. Its westernmost locality, Garagliano, borders the coastal area named Porto Infreschi, which extends from that area to Marina di Camerota.

Due to its position in Cilento National Park, and the natural environment and the quality of its waters (especially in the western localities of Sant´Anna and Garagliano), Scario has a strong tourist appeal, especially in the summer.

It includes a small port. Its nearest railway station is Policastro Bussentino, 4.5 km distant, on the Naples-Reggio Calabria railway line. The nearest main road is 6 km away (to the north, at the exit for Policastro Bussentino) which serves the Salerno - Battipaglia - Paestum - Agropoli - Vallo della Lucania - Policastro - Sapri traffic.
